Jessica Coffey joined the Institute for Public Knowledge in August 2010. As Assistant Director, she works to develop new program areas and working groups for the Institute, serves as a member of the Superstorm Research Lab, and is a liaison between IPK and its many partners across the University and the globe. Prior to this, she spent three years as the Coordinator of Enrichment Programs at One To World creating, marketing, and implementing programs for international university students and visiting Fulbright Scholars throughout the greater New York City area.
Ms. Coffey holds an M.A. in International Education from NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education & Human Development and a B.A. in Public Service, Non Profit Organization Management from the University of Pittsburgh. She serves on the Junior Board of Directors at One To World, is an Assistant Editor of Public Culture, and is a founding member of the Carbon Tree Trust, an organization working to implement sustainable solutions for small scale farmers struggling with the impacts of climate change.
