The Institute for Public Knowledge invites you to join us for a discussion with Ricky Burdett on how global cities are transforming their social landscapes by design. From London to Rio de Janiero, new regeneration, transport and reclamation projects are changing the spatial DNA of urban environments with long-term consequences for citizens and the environment. The illustrated lecture draws on recent research by the London School of Economics Urban Age program.
This event will take place on Thursday, February 20, at 6:00pm in the Main Conference Room on the 5th floor of 20 Cooper Square.
Please visit the event page for more information and to RSVP.
