Mylene Oyarzabal is the Program Administrator for the Institute for Public Knowledge, where she assists in event programming and fostering community among IPK scholars.
Interested in the effects climate change has had on both rural and urban landscapes, Mylene has previously worked as a political organizer, educator, and social media manager around the country. Most recently, she worked as an administrative support assistant at Grand Canyon National Park, where she served as a liaison between external organizations and the National Park Service.
Mylene holds degrees in International Relations and Biological Anthropology from Boston University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Urban Planning degree at NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
