A.J. Bauer is an assistant professor in the Department of Journalism & Creative Media at the University of Alabama. He holds a PhD in American Studies from NYU and is co-editor of News on the Right: Studying Conservative News Cultures (Oxford, 2019).
Paula Chakravartty is the James Weldon Johnson Professor at the Gallatin School and the Department of Media, Culture and Communication at New York University. Chakravartty is the Co-Director of the CRACS Co-Lab and the Editor of the journal Communication, Culture and Critique and the President of the NYU chapter of the AAUP.
Reece Peck is an Associate Professor at the College of Staten Island and the CUNY Graduate Center and the author of Fox Populism: Branding Conservatism as Working Class (Cambridge, 2019). His expertise lies in conservative media, populist rhetoric, and class politics. His writing on YouTube politics has appeared in academic journals like Television and New Media and popular outlets like The Hill and Jacobin.
