Rosalie Uggla is a fourth-year PhD candidate in the Department of American Studies at New York University. Her research focuses on histories of knowledge production and political perception in the United States from the post-war period to the present, and her doctoral dissertation examines contemporary “doomsday” prepping as an expression of core American values. She received a B.A. with a dual-major in Anthropology and Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies from University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
